We create all the desserts at our bakery, "Stuffed Cakery"!

You can even place orders for whole desserts or stop in the store front next door.

This is a family run business with years of history behind the Swain name.

17th Century

The Swain family called Oak Island, NC home during the 17th century and there has always been a Swain on the island since. 

​

The first build was just four walls and a roof, lovingly called "The Shack". Every summer the family would gather on the east coast and cook up some of their favorites; Blue Crab dip, oyster roasts, grilling steaks, and coleslaw.

Present Day

As time went on the family grew and so did the island! The family donated land to have the second bridge built on Oak Island. "Swain's Cut Bridge". 

Our family took all the memories and flavors and opened up Swain's restaurant! Owned by trained Chef Brett and talented Baker Towhee with their kids by their side.
